Function and Operation

This sensor's main purpose is to detect the presence of metal objects without making physical contact. It achieves this by generating a high-frequency electromagnetic field from its sensing face.

When a metallic object (such as iron, steel, or aluminum) enters this field, it causes a change in the sensor's internal oscillation. The sensor recognizes this change and converts it into a digital ON/OFF switching signal.
